A Woman's Life

Fifty-five-year-old Gabrielle (Léa Drucker) is a respected physician and head of a hospital department - constantly juggling enormous responsibility. Little time remains for her personal life: at home, a loving husband and aging mother who needs her care await her. Yet she lives exactly as she once wished.

Her carefully ordered world begins to shift when a young writer starts following her daily work for a new book. Director Charline Bourgeois-Tacquet crafted a sensitive portrait of a woman navigating the boundaries between professional success, caring for others, and the need for closeness.
