Obsession
Bear (Michael Johnston) is an ordinary young man whose love for his colleague Nikki (Inde Navarrette) is as intense as his shyness - and his inability to ask her out. Desperate people do desperate things, so Bear buys a dubious toy at a seedy pawn shop, one that can supposedly grant him a single wish. Any wish at all. He doesn't need to think long: he wants Nikki to love him.
The result comes almost immediately. Nikki is madly in love with Bear - passionately and wildly. So wildly that it becomes dangerous, and Bear begins to mind. First a little, then a lot. The more it bothers him, the colder his feelings become, but Nikki remains obsessed with him - and like someone obsessed, she begins to behave erratically as the romantic imbalance spirals.
A frightened Bear would like to return his wish. The shop owner, however, is of little help - or rather, gives him advice he didn't want to hear. The wish's magic can only be ended by death, preferably his own.
