A stand-up show about what goes through the mind of an ultra-endurance athlete. Daniel Polman - a renowned ultra-cyclist and author - rides his bike for 24 hours straight and runs non-stop through mountains. And he survived to tell the tale.

The programme features stories from behind the scenes of ultra-sport life: how Dan copes with sleep deprivation and why the line between genius and total madness is so thin. As he puts it: "It's not a lecture about sport. It's a stand-up about life with your mind set to extreme mode."

Tickets cost 150 CZK and are available online or at the visitor centre reception.

About the venue: Bernard Visitor Centre

The Bernard Family Brewery Visitor Centre in Humpolec opened in June 2022. The four-storey building serves as the starting point for guided brewery tours with tastings, and houses an interactive exhibition, a cinema hall, and the Na Štokách brewpub. The complex also features a lookout tower built around the brewery's active chimney stack at a height of 33 metres. The centre is also available for corporate events, celebrations, and weddings.
