Ivo Šmoldas and the vocal ensemble Antikvartet perform in Říčany on Wednesday, 29 July 2026 at KC Labuť. The programme blends music with humour and distinctive storytelling - songs alternate with witty narratives. This is one of three Czech tour dates. KC Labuť serves as the city's cultural centre, featuring a renovated hall from 2014 that hosts concerts across all genres, theatre productions, and other cultural events. Tickets are available in advance for 350 CZK or at the door for 400 CZK.

About the venue: KC Labuť

Kulturní centrum Labuť is a city-run cultural centre in Říčany, near Prague, and the main organiser of events in the region. Its hall, reconstructed in 2014, hosts concerts across all genres, touring theatre companies, balls, dance parties and children's shows. The centre also runs a classical music subscription series and a regular Jazz Evenings at Labuť cycle. The spaces are available for private hire as well.

About: ANTIKVARTET

Antikvartet is a Czech vocal ensemble founded by Dušan Vančura in 1962 as a student joke - the name is a dig at the then-emerging Spirituál kvartet. Most members soon moved to Spirituál kvintet, and the group lay dormant for fifty years before Vančura revived it in 2013. Their repertoire spans four-part choral literature, folk songs, spirituals and contemporary pieces, with a large share of the lyrics written by Vančura himself.
