Obsession

Bear (Michael Johnston) is an ordinary young man hopelessly in love with his coworker Nikki (Inde Navarrette), yet too awkward to ask her out. In desperation, he buys a mysterious toy from a dubious antique shop - one that supposedly grants a single wish, any wish at all. Bear doesn't hesitate: he wants Nikki to love him.

The result is immediate. Nikki becomes passionately, wildly in love with Bear - so wildly that it begins to bother him. The more it bothers him, the colder his feelings grow, yet Nikki remains just as obsessed and her behavior grows increasingly unstable.

Bear would like to return the wish, but the shop owner gives him advice he didn't want to hear: the spell can only be broken by death - preferably his own.
