Guided Tour: Righted Wrong - The Story of Stefan Heller's Collection

A guided tour led by Jana Jiráskova takes visitors through an exhibition of artworks from the collection of textile entrepreneur Stefan Heller, revealing the dramatic fate of his family during Nazi occupation. The presentation covers the circumstances of the confiscation of the family's entire property by the Gestapo following the establishment of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, as well as the search for lost paintings and other furnishings from the family residences in Hranice in Moravia.

The narrative concludes with the story of the return of these cultural treasures to Stefan Heller's descendants. The event is part of the ŠTETL FEST Jewish culture festival.
