Transformations of Prague 2

Prague 2 is constantly changing - sometimes dramatically, sometimes subtly in everyday details. This guided walk will showcase selected locations that have undergone reconstruction, public space improvements, or other transformations in recent years.

During the walk, participants will learn more about the history and present state of individual neighbourhoods, about the shape of urban space, and how even small interventions can influence life on streets, in parks, and on squares.

The walk will be led by Prague 2 councillor Tomáš Halva together with other members of the municipal leadership, who will explain not only the final appearance of individual locations, but also the processes and connections behind their transformation.
