Corda Trio: An Evening of Film Melodies — Bělohrad Granary, Lázně Bělohrad

On Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 7:00 PM, you are cordially invited to the main hall of Bělohradská sýpka for a captivating musical programme titled "Corda Trio - An Evening of Film Melodies". Two separate musical paths converge this evening into one exceptional project. The duo LA Violin and harpist Pavla Šťovíčková invite you to a concert filled with beautiful film scores in a unique combination of two violins and harp. Come and enjoy an evening of elegance and music you know so well from the big screen. Spend a September evening with a glass of wine and unwind listening to film music that will transport you into a world of emotion and unforgettable stories.

The programme offers a diverse and familiar musical selection. During the evening, iconic melodies from the great film composers will resound - you can look forward to music from Braveheart, The NeverEnding Story, Interstellar, Out of Africa, and Game of Thrones. Timeless pieces such as "River Flows in You", the Czech "Motiv panny", and the energetic "Libertango" will also feature.

About the performers: Alexandra Slámová studied at the GMHŠ music gymnasium under Prof. Jiří Hynek and subsequently continued her studies at the Prague Conservatory, which she completed under Prof. Jaroslav Foltýn. She currently devotes herself intensively to chamber music as part of the Duo LA Violin ensemble and collaborates with professional orchestras and bands. She has also participated in recordings in recording studios. She enjoys taking on new challenges and is open to musical experiments. Last year she participated in a remote broadcast project where musicians from two different locations played simultaneously in real time. Ludmila Krčmáriková studied violin at the Brno Conservatory in the class of MgA. Richard Kružík and Mgr. Pavel Kyncl. She supplemented her education with Prof. P. Michalici at Master Classes in Kremnica. During her studies, she began teaching at the ZUŠ in Lomnice nad Popelkou, later at the ZUŠ J. B. Foerster in Jičín. She now performs with her husband Pavel Krčmárik, assists in professional orchestras, and privately teaches violin.
