Obsession

Bear (Michael Johnston) is an ordinary young man hopelessly in love with his coworker Nikki (Inde Navarrette), yet too awkward to ask her out. In desperation, he buys a mysterious toy from a dubious antique shop - one that supposedly grants any wish. Without hesitation, Bear wishes for Nikki to love him.

The wish comes true instantly. Nikki falls for Bear with passionate, all-consuming intensity - dangerously so. The more it troubles him, the colder his feelings become, yet Nikki remains just as obsessed and her behavior grows increasingly erratic.

Bear wants to undo the wish, but the shop owner offers him advice he doesn't want to hear: the spell can only be broken by death - preferably his own.
