About: Troják Valašská Bystřice

The Troják cimbalom band has been playing since 1997, building its repertoire on songs and dances rooted directly in Valašská Bystřice and the wider Wallachian region. The dance ensemble behind it has been active since 1991 and ranks among the most dedicated keepers of seasonal folk customs in the area.

The Valašský soubor Troják performed in January 2026 at the Valašský ball of the Bartošova ensemble in the Congress Center in Zlín accompanied by their own cimbalom orchestra.

The Troják ensemble is preparing for the 16th edition of the Portášských slavnosti festival in Valašská Bystřice, which will take place on July 10-12, 2026.
