On Sunday, 28 June 2026, Ohrada Castle hosts a Children's Hunting Day, organized by the Czech-Moravian Hunting Association in cooperation with the Ohrada branch of the National Agricultural Museum. The programme will introduce the traditions of Czech hunters and their contribution to society.

The baroque hunting lodge Ohrada was built in 1708-1713 by architect Pavel Ignác Bayer for Prince Schwarzenberg. The museum has been here since 1842 and ranks among the oldest forestry and hunting museums in Europe. Permanent exhibitions cover hunting, forestry, fishing and falconry; the highlight is the world-renowned Sallač collection of deer antlers. The National Hunting Festival takes place on the castle grounds every June.
