About: MACERATION

Hailing from Esbjerg, Denmark, Maceration established themselves as pioneers of death metal in their nation. Their 1992 debut album 'A Serenade of Agony', featuring vocalist Dan Swanö of Edge of Sanity and Bloodbath, achieved cult status within the Scandinavian metal community. The band's return in 2022 following a nearly three-decade absence culminated in the January 2025 release of 'Serpent Devourment', their third full-length and again helmed by Swanö as producer.
