Ecko Bazz /UG/

Ugandan rapper Ecko Bazz released his debut album Mmaso on the Hakuna Kulala label and quickly gained international attention. His style blends trap, nu-dancehall, and politically charged poetry in the Luganda language - his lyrics explore violence, religion, and poverty in Ugandan slums.

On stage, he alternates between measured spoken passages and hyperactive outbursts, performing over beats by Debmaster, Slikback, and British producer PQ (Nightmare song).
