Summer with Monika, DJ Mardoša - chill out at Pole designu

Tuesday evening, July 28, 2026 at Pole designu in Bílovice (Egoé grounds) offers three separate blocks - a film, live music, and a DJ set - at a relaxed pace without crowded masses.

17:30 | Fiume o morte!
Documentary by Igor Bezinović returns to events of 1919, when Italian poet Gabriele D'Annunzio occupied the city of Rijeka and attempted to create his own state there. The story is told with perspective and humor, featuring contemporary residents of the city. A historical event that, more than a century later, remains disturbingly relevant.

19:30 | Summer with Monika
Author project by Slovak musician and producer Monika Omerzu Midriaková. She gained wider attention with the project Monikino Kino; after her debut album Prázdniny (2014), she focused on film and stage music - her soundtrack for the film Everything Will Be received a Czech Lion nomination. She presented the Summer with Monika project in 2018; the eponymous debut album won the Debut of the Year award in the Slovak Radio FM poll. Her new album Feel It All at Once combines intimate singer-songwriter moments with darker and denser passages.

20:30 | DJ Mardoša
Marek Huňát co-founded the band Tata Bojs in the late 1980s (with Milan Cais). He began DJing around 2000, initially as half of the duo DJs Alfa & Omega with Matěj Bartoška; since 2006 he performs solo. He has played in clubs Delta, Akropolis, Punto Azul, Roxy, Fléda and Raf, on Národní Street in November 2009 and in December 2012 at MeetFactory following James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem.
