Description was written before the event
The Czech Radio Philharmonic moves to Vyšehradské sady on 23 June 2026, where Tomáš Netopil conducts Dvořák's Ninth Symphony and Brahms's Hungarian Dances. The concert takes place in an expansive park on a rocky promontory above the Vltava River, which has retained its romantic character since the late 19th century with tree-lined paths, river views, and sculptures from Czech mythology. Admission is free. This performance is one of four Czech dates in Netopil's conducting schedule over the coming months, which will also take him to Olomouc and Brno.
