Slovak comedian Michael Szatmary brings his stand-up show Lokálny sexsymbol to Uherské Hradiště on Tuesday, 20 October 2026 at the Kulturní dům. The venue on Hradební Street hosts a year-round program of theatre, concerts and folk performances. This is the first of nine Czech dates on Szatmary's autumn tour, which continues through Zlín, Chomutov, Jablonec nad Nisou, České Budějovice, Sokolov, Louny and Prague across October and November. The Kulturní dům is run by Klub kultury, the city's cultural organization.

The Kulturní dům in Uherské Hradiště is run by Klub kultury, a municipal cultural organisation founded in 1992. Its year-round programme covers theatre, concerts across genres, folklore events and balls. A permanent puppet stage for children opened in 2012, while adults can subscribe to a series of jazz and classical concerts. The venue also hosts the painting biennial Hradišťský plenér and Setkání - Stretnutie, a joint showcase of Czech and Slovak visual artists.
