The 70th edition of the traditional Kopanician Festivities takes place in Uherské Hradiště. This festival celebrates the culture and heritage of the Kopanician miners and their traditions.

The Kulturní dům in Uherské Hradiště is run by Klub kultury, a municipal cultural organisation founded in 1992. Its year-round programme covers theatre, concerts across genres, folklore events and balls. A permanent puppet stage for children opened in 2012, while adults can subscribe to a series of jazz and classical concerts. The venue also hosts the painting biennial Hradišťský plenér and Setkání - Stretnutie, a joint showcase of Czech and Slovak visual artists.
