Three Colours: White

White is the most playful and simultaneously harshest film in Krzysztof Kieślowski's loose trilogy Three Colours. It follows the fate of Karol Karol (Zbigniew Zamachowski), a Polish immigrant living in France - an unlucky hairdresser whose wife (Julie Delpy) sues him for divorce due to an unfulfilled marriage and later accuses him of arson after he sets his own salon on fire.

The film depicts Karol's elaborate revenge plan and moves between dark comedy about economic inequality between Eastern and Western Europe and dreams of twisted love.
