Red Bull Dance Your Style 2026: Brno

Red Bull Dance Your Style comes to Brno for the first time. On Saturday, June 27, 2026, sixteen dancers from across the Czech Republic will compete in front of Janáček Theatre for a place at the world final.

How the competition works
The winner is not decided by a jury, but by the audience using colored cards. Each battle takes place without choreography - dancers don't know what music the DJ will play and must react in the moment. Expression, musicality, and the ability to win over the crowd are what matter.

The final sixteen
Twelve finalists were selected by the Red Bull Dance Your Style team in collaboration with the local dance scene, while four more spots went to dancers from qualifying rounds at Majáles in Prague and Brno. Returning is last year's winner Jan "Lil-H" Ničovský, who will compete alongside his younger brother Antonín "Lil-T" Ničovský.

The lineup includes: Regina "Regina" Aitova (hip hop, dancehall), Maria "Maria" Hašek (dancehall, hip hop), Veronika "Vewa" Wágnerová (afro styles), Sebastian "Sebastian" Nicolas Šipoš from crew MoGG, Marie "Masha" Dusha (high heels, contemporary, experimental movement), Jan "Hony" Novotný (hip hop, house, krump), Don "Don" Mulefu (hip hop, house, contemporary, Latin dances), Karolína "Kai" Kolovratová (hip hop, R&B), Nela "Nela" Kafková (hip hop, house), and Adam "Adamson" Kmenta (hip hop). From the Prague qualifying round: Lukas "Lukas" Benjamin Lizama Garrido (hip hop, house, contemporary) and Barbora "Badu" Jakubcová (popping). From Brno: Matěj "Císa" Cisarz (locking, funk styles) and Ondřej "Ondřej" Janík (locking, popping).

The winner of the national final will represent the Czech Republic at the world final on October 24, 2026, in Switzerland.

Supporting programme
The programme opens with BRWNS, a project by Vaheh Akopjan and Zuzana Akopjan Veselá, who blend urban styles with contemporary dance. The dance duo Mensa Brothers will also perform - brothers Kristián and Marek Mensovi, with Kristián Mensa (Mr. Kriss) being the winner of the first Czech edition of Red Bull Dance Your Style.
