About the venue: Palác Akropolis

Palác Akropolis is a multifunctional cultural centre in Prague's Žižkov district, built in 1927 by architect Rudolf Václav Svoboda. The basement houses the main hall with a capacity of 700, complemented by a small stage, café, bars and a restaurant. As a hub of independent culture, it hosts over 900 events a year — concerts, theatre, exhibitions and film screenings across genres. At the end of the 20th century it was revived as the home stage of the "Prague Five", the best known of which was the Sklep Theatre.
