An Evening with Writer and Historian Vlastimil Vondruška

An evening with writer and historian Vlastimil Vondruška, or "Sinners of the Czech Kingdom." Vlastimil Vondruška, a renowned author of historical novels and gifted storyteller, shares not only the behind-the-scenes creation of his beloved detective stories but also entertains the audience with amusing anecdotes from his own life. This stage talk-show alternates between tales of the present day and literary work with vivid accounts of our ancestors' lives. Like Vondruška's books, this programme combines the wisdom of age with optimism. As the author says, the purpose of art is to bring people joy and hope even in difficult times. The evening is hosted by Robert Tamchyna. After the performance, there will be a book sale and author signing.
