Today is Certainly an Immense Miracle

A theatrical adaptation exploring the mosaic of life and personality of the renowned Prostějov poet Jiří Wolker. An original production by the Artistic Agency Šlus team. A performance asking why and who Jiří Wolker really was? How do his personality and work continue to influence our lives today? And perhaps also how each era has shaped his life anew. The production will feature the dominance of music and Wolker's poetry, which still sends shivers down the spine 102 years after his death. What would his life have looked like had he actually finished his greatest poem? Do we really know this icon? And do we even have the chance to truly understand him?
