Tarot Cards Rider Waite
YMCA, Prague
Tarot has accompanied Europe since the 14th century, when it first appeared in Genoa and Marseille. It captures two card games merged into one, with cards depicting most human situations and personality types. By consulting the tarot, we enter a unified information field where we are spoken to through images. Their sequence, their colors, their figures and details reveal much about how we feel, what options we have, and how a situation will develop. It all depends on how we ask the question and what the cards are actually answering. This four-day course offers insight into tarot practice, the rules, and client communication that leads to understanding and acceptance. The Rider Waite tarot appeared in 1908 in the United States as the first illustrated tarot that, thanks to its clarity and purity, became established and served as the model for most subsequent tarot decks.
