A tribute to Hana Hegerová comes to Kralupy nad Vltavou on Tuesday, 15 September 2026 at KD Vltava. Zuzana Němcová Šmejkalová presents a two-hour programme of twenty-five chansons as part of her nine-date Czech tour. The programme will make you laugh, move you to tears, and give you goosebumps - Hana Hegerová's songs resound in authentic performance that has already reached thousands of audiences in halls from Ostrava through Olomouc to smaller city theatres and churches. Kralupy nad Vltavou becomes one of the key stops on this musical journey across the Czech Republic.

About the venue: KD Vltava

KD Vltava is a cultural and community centre in the Lobeček district of Kralupy nad Vltavou, run as a municipal organisation since 1973. The building houses a 3D cinema, a large hall for theatre performances, balls and concerts, and a smaller hall used for exhibitions and lectures. The centre runs its own festivals - the amateur theatre festivals Tyjátjátra and Za Vodou, the children's series Z pohádky do pohádky and the Kralupský talent competition - and organises the annual Dny Kralup city celebrations and the Seifertovy Kralupy poetry festival.

In 2019 she reached the final of the German Songwriting Awards, and the year before was a semifinalist in a UK songwriting competition.
