About the venue: Kino Hvězda

Kino Hvězda is a digitalised cinema in Kadaň that underwent a thorough reconstruction in 2007-2008, designed by architect Vít Branda. The auditorium holds 203 seats - down from the original 388 - and screens Czech and international films in 2D and 3D using a 4K BARCO projector with an RGB laser source. The multifunctional hall also hosts lectures and talks. A café attached to the cinema stays open outside screening times.
