Film Music Concert

The Dalibor Havlíček Symphony Orchestra presents its successful Film Music Concert in Litomyšl. This young ensemble has curated a diverse programme of beloved film melodies for you. You will hear themes from Rocky, the popular series Game of Thrones, and the spy film series Mission Impossible. The programme also features Ennio Morricone's famous theme from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, along with soundtracks from adventure films Indiana Jones, The Magnificent Seven, The Last of the Mohicans, and Winnetou. Film scores from Pearl Harbor and Pirates of the Caribbean - composed by one of today's most sought-after composers, Hans Zimmer - are also on the bill. Younger audiences will enjoy melodies from the Harry Potter film series and the animated Madagascar series. Classical film music lovers will appreciate selections from Oldsters on Hops, the first and arguably most famous Czech film musical from 1964.
