Musical on Wheels brings a concert filled with the greatest hits of world and Czech musicals, performed by stars regularly seen on the stage of the Josef Kajetán Tyl Theatre in Plzen. Jozef Hruškoci, Markéta Pešková, Lucie Pragerová and Martin Holec will present beloved melodies and powerful stories alongside humorous and surprising backstage anecdotes that reveal what can happen during musical rehearsals and in theatre dressing rooms.

About the venue: Kulturní dům

The cultural centre in Kralovice - known as the Lidový dům (People's House) - is run by the municipal cultural organisation and serves as the town's main venue for concerts, theatre performances, balls, exhibitions, and dance and language courses. The building also houses a small cinema, which moves its screenings to an open-air cinema during the summer months. Past performers include Ewa Farna and Lenka Filipová.

About: Jozef Hruškoci

Jozef Hruškoci is a musical theatre actor and, since the 2025/2026 season, artistic director of the musical ensemble at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen, where he has been a company member since 2011. He trained in musical theatre at the Janáček Academy in Brno. His title role in Sweeney Todd earned him the Pilsen City Arts Award and a Thálie Prize nomination. Other notable roles include Emperor Franz Josef in Elisabeth and Count Dracula in Karel Svoboda's musical of the same name.

About: Markéta Pešková

Markéta Pešková (born 1991 in Zlín) is a Czech actress and singer specialising in musical theatre. She trained at JAMU in Brno and went on to perform at major Czech stages - notably as Elphaba in Wicked at Prague's GoJa Music Hall in 2019. Since 2025 she has been part of the ensemble at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen, where her role as Mrs Danvers in Rebecca earned her a Thália Award nomination. She also records and performs with the pop group 80'Factory.
