The saxophone quartet FOUR + ONE with vocalist Andrea Kaňková performs an Advent concert on Sunday, 6 December 2026 at Betlémská kaple in Plzeň. The programme spans classical music, swing, jazz and contemporary works, featuring arrangements of Christmas carols. Betlémská kaple on Husova Street is a functionalist church of the Evangelical Methodist Church, built in 1926-1927 after designs by Prague architect Josef Blecha Jr. The building displays a restrained yet artistically convincing style close to Cubism. This performance is one of three Czech dates on FOUR + ONE's tour, which also includes a concert in Hradec Králové.

About the venue: Betlémská kaple Plzeň

The Betlémská kaple on Husova Street is a church of the Evangelical Methodist Church, built in 1926-1927 to a design by Prague architect Josef Blecha ml. The building is notable for its plain yet artistically accomplished style close to Cubism, with no decorative ornament. The congregation was founded in 1923; after 1948 the communist regime confiscated the church, and it was only returned to its original owner in 1991. Today it is run by the ECM Maranatha congregation and hosts both regular services and public cultural events.
