Ghost Hunt in Hranice

A spooky traveling exhibition with an adventure game called Ghost Hunt has arrived at the Hranice Museum and Gallery in the Old Town Hall from Wednesday, April 1, 2026. The exhibition fills all the museum's exhibition halls and features approximately twenty supernatural beings from Czech and European legends – the White Lady from Rožmberk Castle, the Black Lady from Buchlova Castle, the witch of Velké Losiny with inquisitor Boblig, Countess Catherine of Komárov and Elizabeth Báthory from Čachtice, a headless knight, werewolves, and vampires. The atmosphere is enhanced by audiovisual effects in the form of animated paintings – initially an idyllic portrait transforms before the visitor's eyes into a terrifying beast. The exhibition includes an adventure trail with a game sheet where visitors complete tasks at individual stations. The exhibition was curated by Marek Suchánek. During the extended Easter weekend 2026, the exhibition was visited by approximately 400 people. Admission is included in the regular museum entrance fee.
