Tublatanka takes the stage in Znojmo on Saturday, 15 May 2027 at Nevoga arena. The Slovak rock group, formed in 1982, is touring the Czech Republic with seven dates in total, and this Znojmo show ranks among the tour's main stops. The venue on Dvořákova Street, built in 1970 and roofed in 1977, holds 4,800 seats and serves as the home stadium of hockey club HC Orli Znojmo. The concert takes place on a Friday evening in one of Znojmo's largest halls.

About the venue: Nevoga aréna

Nevoga aréna is a covered ice sports arena in Znojmo, built in 1970 and roofed in 1977. It serves as the home venue of HC Orli Znojmo, who play their Chance Liga matches here. The arena holds 4,800 spectators. The ice surface is available for ten months of the year; in summer it gives way to an in-line skating track. The arena has carried its current name since 2016, when construction company Nevoga became the club's main partner.

Formed in Bratislava in 1982 by guitarist-vocalist Maťo Ďurinda and drummer Juraj Černý, Tublatanka rose to prominence as one of Czechoslovakia's leading hard rock acts during the 1980s. Their third album Žeravé znamenie osudu (1988) achieved sales of 250,000 copies, while their track "Pravda víťazí" gained recognition as an unofficial symbol of the Velvet Revolution. The trio of Ďurinda, Juraj Topor and Peter Schlosser released the album Uprostred chaosu in 2023 and maintains an active touring schedule throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Maťo Ďurinda (born Martin Ďurinda) is a Slovak rock musician and vocalist, best known as a co-founder of Tublatanka, a band he helped form in 1982. Tublatanka became one of the defining acts of Slovak rock in the 1980s and 1990s. He has also pursued a solo career alongside his work with the band.
