Tribute to Hana Hegerová in the Church in Litomyšl

A tribute to Hana Hegerová takes place on Sunday, 13 September 2026 in the Piarist Church in Litomyšl. Zuzana Němcová Šmejkalová performs a two-hour concert featuring twenty-five chansons that have become classics of Czechoslovak music. This is one of nine Czech dates on her tour this year. The Piarist Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross is a Baroque building from the 18th century, decorated with valuable frescoes and altar paintings and protected as a cultural monument. The church's interior provides an intimate setting for this musical tribute to the first lady of Czechoslovak chanson.
