Pavel Čadek and the Úcellová group perform at Prague's Cross Club on Tuesday, 16 June 2026 at 19:30. This is one of five Czech dates on the summer tour, which also takes the ensemble to Jablonec nad Nisou, Brno, Plumlov, and Dvůr Králové nad Labem. Cross Club in Holešovice provides an ideal setting for the summer concert - the three-storey venue features a café, restaurant, and two indoor stages alongside an outdoor area. The steampunk-themed club, operating since 2002, offers a distinctive atmosphere for live music.

About: Pavel Čadek

Born on 28 December 1989 in Brno, Pavel Čadek is a Czech singer-songwriter whose distinctive approach involves accompanying his vocals with cello. He describes this self-created genre, which he terms cellofolk, as a fusion between Jaromír Nohavica and Apocalyptica. Though educated in theoretical computer science at Masaryk University, he ultimately pursued music as his primary profession. Among his four studio albums, Stepní vlk (2023) earned a shortlist nomination for the Anděl Award in the folk category.

Cross Club is a multi-genre cultural club in Prague's Holešovice district, founded in 2002. The three-floor venue includes a café, restaurant, several bars, two indoor stages, a theatre and an outdoor area. Both the interior and exterior are styled in steampunk aesthetics with sculptures made from scrap metal. The music programme focuses on non-mainstream genres; in 2014 the club was named one of Europe's 25 best venues by The Guardian.
