Czech Welding Championship - Welding Race 2026

Welding Race is a full-day event where welding becomes a competitive sport. Competitors - top students, young talents and professionals - compete in disciplines inspired by international skills competitions. Time, precision and weld quality are judged live in front of an audience with a moderator, live commentary and lighting and smoke effects.

The programme includes competitive welding in direct team and individual matches, finals, live stream and presentations of technologies and equipment from partners. Competitors can earn diplomas, professional certifications and expert validation of their performance.

The event is organized by SPŠ Hranice and Sportovní centrum NAPARIA. It takes place on 10 September 2026 from 10:00 to 24:00.
