Lace makers from around the world gather in Vamberk to showcase their craft. The event features an exhibition of Czech bobbin lace and a fashion show by the Vamberk Lace School presenting a jewelry collection.

About the venue: Město Vamberk

Vamberk is a town in the Rychnov nad Kněžnou District of the Hradec Králové Region, with around 4,600 inhabitants. It was first mentioned in writing in 1341 and received town privileges in 1616. The town is best known for its bobbin lace tradition, which dates to the mid-17th century, when the Belgian estate owner Magdalena of Gramb introduced new patterns and techniques. The Lace Museum, the Lace School and the annual International Lace Festival keep this heritage alive today. The main landmark on the square is the early Baroque Church of Saint Procopius, built in 1707-1714.

Vamberecká lace was registered on May 29, 2026 by the European Intellectual Property Office as a protected geographical indication - the first craft product in the Czech Republic with this protection.

About: Th!s

Four Prague friends who have played together since school deliver raw, sample-free root-rock rooted in 1970s American hard rock. Bassist Vojta Kotek is also a well-known Czech actor, but it is vocalist Honza Melíšek who fronts the band.
