This six-piece from Valašské Meziříčí has been at it for over two decades, weaving fiddle, accordion and cimbalom into a driving beat built on folk texts from across the Carpathian arc. Two Anděl nominations and a gold disc for 6,000 CDs sold mark their track record.

Colours of Ostrava announced Docuku as part of the complete program for the first festival day (July 16, 2025).

About: František Černý

František Černý is a Czech musician and member of the folk-rock trio Čechomor. Together with Karel Holas and Matěj Lienert, the group is known for its inventive arrangements of Czech, Moravian and Slovak folk songs, blending folk music with rock. Čechomor has been active on the Czech music scene for over thirty years.

About: Vít Rokyta

Vít Rokyta is a Czech guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who studied classical guitar at the conservatory in Kroměříž. Since 2005 he has been a member of the folk-rock band Fleret, and has worked with Helena Zeťová, Slávek Janoušek, Boris Urbánek and others. Alongside his concert and studio work, he has been running improvisation workshops across the Czech Republic since 2020 and founded the music education platform Hudební jazyk.
