Mário Bihári arrives in Šumperk on Thursday, 10 September 2026 at the Klášterní kostel Zvěstování Panny Marie with an evening dedicated to Zuzana Navarová. The concert features accordion, piano, and voice in a Baroque church that was rebuilt after a fire in 1669 and is now owned by the city of Šumperk. This is one of four Czech tour dates for Bihári, with additional performances scheduled in Ostrava and Prague. Admission from 400 CZK. The church on Kladská street provides an intimate setting for a musical tribute to this significant figure in Czech music.

About the venue: Monastery Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary

A deconsecrated Baroque church originally belonging to a Dominican monastery founded, according to the order's chronicle, in 1293. Its current Baroque form is the result of reconstruction after the 1669 fire, completed in 1688. Owned by the town of Šumperk, the church has served as a cultural venue since April 2005, hosting concerts, exhibitions, graduation ceremonies and other events. In summer it is open to the public with guided tours; the restored crypt is also accessible.

A blind Romani multi-instrumentalist from Malacky who came of age in Zuzana Navarová's KOA and now leads his own group Bachtale Apsa - the name translates as Tears of Happiness. Their repertoire spans Balkan and Hungarian Romani traditions, Sinti jazz and original compositions.
