Tales Come Alive by Hand
Národní muzeum, Prague
Tales Come Alive by Hand is a series of fairy-tale programmes for children aged 5 and up at the Ethnographic Museum of the National Museum. The programme combines shared reading of selected fairy tales with a follow-up art workshop where children can create fairy-tale motifs and characters with their own hands. It draws from the works of Karel Čapek – Nine Fairy Tales (such as The Bird's Tale, The Dog's Tale). The programme runs from 16:30 to 18:00. Museum entry is free for children under 15 (accompanied by an adult); adults pay the standard admission fee. The venue is partially wheelchair accessible.
