For Me in the House - Framing Workshop

The House of Art invites you to another "For Me in the House" workshop, taking place on Wednesday, June 17 at 4:30 PM in the building on Malinovsky Square.

This time we'll focus on matting and framing - how a frame can change the meaning of an image and what happens when it becomes part of the artwork itself. We'll layer, cut, overlap, and combine images into collages where the frame functions as an active creative element, not just a boundary. This is not a technical framing course, but an experiment and play with possibilities for displaying images and giving them new context.

You're welcome to bring your own artworks or photographs to frame, but you can also participate without them.

The "For Me in the House" series is a regular workshop programme open to everyone regardless of age. Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 4:30 PM at the House of Art, with the theme and artistic techniques changing each time.
