Rick is a wedding band singer whose career is fading into obscurity, while Danny is a washed-up boy band star. When their paths unexpectedly cross, a friendship forms built on their shared love of music and desire to reclaim the spotlight. But when Danny takes one of Rick's songs and transforms it into a massive hit, a battle erupts between them over recognition and a place in the limelight.

Starring Paul Rudd (Marvel's Ant-Man films, Ghostbusters: Afterlife) and Nick Jonas (Jonas Brothers, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji: The Next Level). Directed by John Carney, creator of Once (Oscar for Best Original Song), Sing Street, and Crazy, Stupid, Love, who also co-wrote the screenplay.

About: Nick Jonas

Nicholas Jerry Jonas (born September 16, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter and actor. Jonas began acting on Broadway at the age of seven and released his debut single in 2002; this caught the attention of Columbia Records, where Jonas formed a band with his older brothers and Joe, known as the Jonas Brothers. The group released their debut studio album, It's About Time, through the Columbia label in 2006. After leaving Columbia Records and signing with Hollywood Records, the group released their self-titled second studio album in 2007, which became their breakthrough record. The band became prominent figures on the Disney Channel during this time, gaining a large following through the network, and appeared in the widely successful musical television film Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010), as well as two of their series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream (2008–2010) and Jonas (2009–2010).

About the venue: Kino Světozor

A three-screen art cinema in the heart of Prague, built in 1918 beneath the Světozor passage in the Art Nouveau Palace of the Czech Bank (designed by Osvald Polívka). After a period as a cabaret it returned to cinema use in 1957, and since 2004 has operated as a premiere art-house cinema. It screens quality European and non-European films, documentaries, and experimental genres. The main hall seats 356, with two smaller halls seating 70 and 50.
