The Disappearance of Josef Mengele

After the end of World War II, Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor from Auschwitz, flees to South America, where he attempts to start a new life in hiding. His son, however, tracks him down, and Mengele is confronted with a past he can no longer ignore.

From Buenos Aires through Brazil to Paraguay, the man known as the "angel of death" methodically constructs his own disappearance from the face of the earth – only to evade any trial.
