A two-day open-air festival DAROS FEST will take place on Friday and Saturday, 4–5 September 2026 in the DAROS area, Dvůr Králové nad Labem. 💙 The event has a charitable purpose and traditionally affordable admission. 🎟️

Confirmed bands on the programme: Komunál, Walda Gang, Morčata na útěku, Krucipüsk, Turbo, Bastard, Vilém Čok & Bypass, Alžběta, Alibi Rock and Alchymie.

About the venue: areál stavebnin Daros profi s.r.o.

The Daros profi s.r.o. building yard is an outdoor space belonging to a family-run building materials company in Dvůr Králové nad Labem, founded in 2004. The site was formerly a sawmill below the railway station, bought in 2017 and opened as a building supplies store in 2018. Once a year it hosts the Daros Fest rock festival, featuring Czech bands and raising money for local charities.

About: KOMUNÁL

Komunál is a Czech rock-metal band from Chlumec nad Cidlinou, established in 1992 under the original name Komunální odpad. A management conflict in 2010 led to the band's renaming, with frontman Luboš Suchánek assuming leadership. Throughout more than three decades, the group has cultivated a devoted audience through sincere songwriting, memorable choruses and dynamic live performances throughout the country.

About: WALDA GANG

Walda Gang is a Prague-based rock ensemble established by Vláďa Šafránek, former vocalist of Harlej, as a tribute to Waldemar Matuška. The group earned its standing through hard-hitting rock interpretations of Matuška's works alongside other Czech and international compositions, performing regularly at festivals throughout the country. Following Šafránek's death in September 2018, the band has continued operating and remains an active presence on the Czech rock scene.

Morčata na útěku is a Brno-based rock-metal band operating since 2004 that has cultivated a dedicated fanbase throughout the Czech Republic. The group's artistic foundation rests on parodies of popular Czech and international hits paired with their own lyrics - typically crude and pub-influenced in character - and they identify themselves as an "aggro-jazz" ensemble. About: TURBO

Founded in 1981 in Plzeň by guitarist Richard Kybic and drummer Jiří Lang, Turbo became one of Czechoslovakia's leading rock acts during the 1980s. The band's melodic hard-rock songs achieved widespread recognition and enduring popularity across the region. Following Kybic's death in 2003, Turbo has maintained its presence with rotating band members and continues to perform regularly.

About: Bastard

Formed in 1993, Bastard is a hard rock band from the Czech city of Havířov. Their 1994 debut album won them Monitor EMI's discovery of the year award and secured them as the exclusive opening act for Kabát's national tour. Following a two-decade break, the group resumed activity in 2015 and subsequently released Druhá Müza (2020), which finished third in Spark magazine's Album of the Year competition and attracted interest from Warner Music, along with Alchymie d.n.a. (2022). The band signed with Smile Music Records in 2025 and is currently developing their third studio album, V záhybech času.

About: Alžběta

Alžběta Tkáč Trusinová serves as vocalist and primary lyricist for the Prague band něco něco, a project she shares with guitarist-producer Tomáš Tkáč and drummer Václav Švestka. Established in 2019, the trio performs danceable indie pop informed by post-punk and electronic music, exclusively in Czech. Their 2021 album Útržky received nominations at the Vinyla and Apollo awards; the fourth album Majonéza (2026) showcases a rawer guitar approach and more direct songwriting.
