Labyrinth: Landscape of Inner Wandering

GHMP Zámek Troja, Prague

The exhibition Labyrinth: Landscape of Inner Wandering presents a collection of contemporary artworks that, through the myth of the labyrinth and especially the story of the Minotaur, explore human uncertainty, decision-making, fear of otherness, and personal and social responsibility. The project connects archetypal narratives with current themes of contemporary society: from retreat into social bubbles through dehumanization to the search for empathy and dialogue. The exhibition confronts visitors with their own attitudes, allows them to walk through the path of a labyrinth or maze, and guides them toward becoming critically thinking observers. It addresses key social questions—fear of the unknown and uncertainty, generalization and dehumanization, individual responsibility in modern society, and the power of words and their impact on human dignity. Exhibiting artists: Tereza Bartůňková, Veronika Homolová, Hedvika Hlaváčková, Vojtěch Hrubant, Eva Koťátková, Matouš Lipus, Eva Palčič, Klára Samcová, Dominik Styk. Curator: Karla Dvořák Hlaváčková. Graphic design: Studio Anymade. Architectural design: Tereza Melková. The exhibition runs from April 1 to October 29, 2026. Open: Tue–Thu 10–18, Fri 13–18, Sat–Sun 10–18.
