About the venue: Red Church in Olomouc

The Red Church is a Neo-Gothic building in the North German Brick Gothic style, constructed in 1901–1902 to a design by architect Max Löw for Olomouc's German Protestant community. Its most prominent feature is the 55-metre tower. After World War II the church passed to Czech Evangelicals, and from 1961 it served as a book depot of the Scientific Library in Olomouc. Following a major reconstruction (2020–2023) by architect Miroslav Pospíšil, it reopened in 2023 as a cultural and educational centre of VKOL, hosting lectures, concerts, exhibitions, and events for children.
