The band Fešáci brings their traditional Christmas saloon to Plzeň. The programme will feature their most famous songs and memories of former members and colleagues – Michal Tučný, Jindřich Šťáhlavský and Pavel Brümer. The duo of entertainers Mladý – Náhlovský were also part of Fešáci.

As they approach their upcoming anniversary, Fešáci are recording a new album and will bring three new songs to Plzeň. Christmas songs and carols will also be performed by a lit Christmas tree. Each year the saloon brings a new programme – this time featuring a special guest: the found son of Josef Alois Náhlovský.

About: Fešáci

Fešáci is a Czech country and folk-rock band formed in the 1970s. The group became one of the most prominent acts on the Czech country music scene, closely associated with vocalist Tomáš Linka. Their songs are among the best-known hits of Czech country music.

About the venue: Měšťanská Beseda

Měšťanská beseda is a Neo-Renaissance building with Art Nouveau décor, erected by the Pilsen citizens' association in 1901 and ceremonially opened on 29 December of that year. Following an extensive renovation completed in 2005, it serves as one of the most important cultural centres in Pilsen. The venue houses several halls and salons, the Beseda Cinema, the Jonáš Theatre and an Art Nouveau café, with a total capacity of over 1,000 persons. Concerts, theatre performances, balls, film screenings, festivals, lectures and children's events take place here almost daily. The building is a listed cultural monument and received the Building of the Year 2005 award.
