The Tea Festival takes place 18–20 September 2026 in the Sunny Baths complex (L. Janáčka 97, Luhačovice) as part of the exhibition Bonsai and Art – Days of Asian Culture, running from 11 to 20 September 2026. The exhibition features bonsai trees on loan from Bonsaimuseum Isabelia (one of Europe's largest bonsai gardens), works by academic sculptor Zdeněk Tománek, and historic Japanese swords and weapons from Jiří Švestka's collection. The festival programme includes tea ceremonies with Cha Do Brno, kyōgen theatre (traditional Japanese comedy sketches inscribed on the UNESCO list), traditional Japanese dance Kamigatamai performed by Markéta Fránová, live music by DUO DI MALÍ, demonstrations by the Katori school of samurai master Marek Motyčka, calligraphy, martial arts, and creative workshops. The grounds also feature stalls with Asian delicacies and original ceramics.
Opening hours: Friday 14:00–20:00, Saturday 9:00–20:00, Sunday 9:00–17:00. Entry to the Sunny Baths grounds is free; admission to the Bonsai and Art exhibition in the Greenhouse building costs 100 CZK (adults), children under 150 cm tall free.
