Domažlice Wine Festival 2026
Náměstí Míru, Domažlice
free entry
The Domažlice Wine Festival is an annual winemaking event held on Míru Square in Domažlice as part of the Czech Wine Festivals series — the largest wine tour in Bohemia. In 2026, it marks the 4th edition, taking place on Saturday, May 23rd. The festival traditionally offers tastings of wines from carefully selected winemakers from Bohemia and Moravia, including traditional varieties (Veltlínské zelené, Ryzlink vlašský, Sauvignon, Frankovka) and lesser-known PIWI varieties. The programme includes an extensive food zone with food trucks and stalls offering dishes that pair well with wine. The entire festival is traditionally hosted by moderator Luděk Holý, with musical accompaniment provided by cimbalom music, a pop band, and a DJ. Wine is served exclusively in festival glasses purchased on-site. Entry to the festival is free.
