The eighth edition of the multi-genre open-air festival RakFest takes place on 29 August 2026 in the Marečkova louka area in Říčany near Brno. The programme covers pop, rock, jazz and agropunk.

The main stage will feature Buty, Vanua2, the jazz quartet Fuartet, the rock circus Divá Bára, the Říčany-based band Destilát, Asymptota and the new band Odyss3a.

Children's workshops will be available, along with a festival library and refreshments.

About: BUTY

Buty was established in 1986 by Richard Kroczek and Radek Pastrňák in Ostrava. The band's distinctive sound - merging rock, folk and world music with clever lyrics - earned them substantial popularity throughout the 1990s. Across eight studio albums they received a Czech Lion award for their music to Jan Svěrák's film Jízda (1994), in addition to multiple Anděl and Český slavík awards.

Vanua2 is a Czech pop-rock band formed in 2017 when members of the legendary Blue Effect joined forces with Yannick Tevi, a singer from the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu. This Brno quartet delivers stripped-back Czech-language rock 'n' roll recorded the old-fashioned way - straight to tape - and performed with full-throttle energy live.
