URBIS Challenge HackaTEEN 2026
URBIS Challenge HackaTEEN 2026 is a student hackathon organized by the SMART CITY community, taking place on June 2–3, 2026 from 11:00 to 18:30 at Kongresák.space (BVV, Hlinky 487/35, Brno) as part of URBIS – The Smart Cities Meetup 2026. Participants have 24 hours to design an innovation for a smart city, specifically how to make it resilient for the future.
Teams from student and youth parliaments of primary and secondary schools across the Czech Republic can participate – maximum 5 members plus one teacher (supervision not required for adult participants). The winning team will present at Smart City World Expo in Barcelona in November; the second and third teams will receive financial prizes.
Capacity is limited to 20 teams. Registration is open at www.hackateen.eu and closes on April 30, 2026 at 12:00 – the organizer reserves the right to close registration early if capacity is reached. Confirmation of participation will be sent to registered teams by April 30, 2026. The rules for HackaTEEN 2026 will be published in March 2026 on the same website.
