Schools – Behind the Mask
100 Kč / 12–30 people, 2 pedagogové free
This programme explores the theme of masks as a metaphor for identity, social roles, and individuality through post-revolutionary artworks. Participants will examine the work of Milena Dopitová, Veronika Bromová, and Jan Merta, and trace how artists responded to their newly gained freedom after 1989.
The programme includes discussion, creation of living tableaux, and work with gesture and movement. The aim is to understand the metaphorical meaning of masks, reflect on the theme of roles and archetypes, and express personal perspectives through creative forms. The programme draws on elements of drama education and creates space for wellbeing and introspection.
Target group: secondary and tertiary students / Duration: 90–120 minutes / Price: 100 CZK / 12–30 people, 2 teachers free
