Unitarianism is a religious and philosophical movement with roots in late antiquity that separated from the Reformation movement in the mid-16th century. Historian and genealogist Tomáš Herajt will focus his lecture primarily on the founding of the Unitarian religious society UNITARIA in Czechoslovakia after World War I, present key figures of Czechoslovak Unitarianism, and discuss genealogical sources related to the society's activities.
The lecture is part of the Genealogy+ series and is organized by the National Library of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Czech Genealogical and Heraldic Society in Prague.
